This week, our Director of Marketing Strategy, Magda Houalla, sat down with our friend Max Hjelm, Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnership at Curalate, to chat about their favorite topic: repurposing influencer content.

Odds are, if you’re reading this, you already have or are getting ready to launch an influencer marketing program. Influencer marketing is an extremely effective marketing strategy because of its ability to reach a large audience, build awareness for your brand, drive traffic to your site, and improve customers’ affinity with your brand.

And traditionally, influencer content has lived exclusively on an influencer’s own account. However, more and more brands are beginning to realize that the true value of influencers lies in their ability to tell authentic stories. They’ve amassed huge followings by telling compelling stories that their audiences want to hear, creating stunning visual assets to move their stories forward, and engaging with their communities of followers.

To help brands understand how they can leverage influencer content across their own marketing stack, Magda and Max hosted a webinar on the best practices those brands need to know.

The webinar, How to Improve Conversions with Influencer Content, went over:

  • • What a multi-channel influencer strategy looks like
  • • Where—and why—influencer content can outperform brand-created content
  • • How brands can distribute influencer content to various touchpoints

During the webinar, Magda and Max dove into why influencer generated content (IGC) can outperform brand-created content, and provided specific examples on how brands are using IGC on channels including, owned and paid social, email marketing, website, and more.
